Spring Internship at DENSO-Vietnam

During my winter vacation, I had a huge opportunity to do my first internship in a subsidiary of DENSO group. DENSO is the world's leading group in the field of automotive components manufacturer, specializing in providing innovative automotive manufacturers, with many factories in 35 countries and different regions around the world. The subsidiary I did internship was DENSO MANUFACTURING VIETNAM CO.LTD. (hereby DENSO Vietnam) , located in my home country Vietnam.  This chance gave me an unforgettable and precious experience especially in my academic field.

This one week doing internship totally changed my mind regarding how one company operates and I realized that it is more complex than what I thought. Besides, I had chance to learn about some main products of the company, especially when I was arranged in the design center. All the theory became clearer than ever when I understood how I can use all the materials that I have learnt and will learn from university to be able to work in the future. Moreover, I received a very warm welcome from the beginning until the ending.  I was guided by the people who have a deep understanding about the products of company, I had chance to attend meetings, visit the laboratory for testing new product and observation of the factory for the couple of times.

Now, I am second year student in department of mechanical engineering and I have to choose my laboratory next year.  More than anything, this internship helped me to figure out which special part of mechanical engineering I want to study and what I can do in the future. Thanks to all unforgettable and precious experience, I had during this internship, for making it easier for me to choose my laboratory. Last but not least, I want to say thank you to all the people involved from my professors to DENSO company members for giving me this huge opportunity.
(Leo, Mechanical Engineering)
