QUBES Student Ambassador Team 2015

Hello, everyone! The following six IUPE Engineering students were selected as the members of QUBES Student Ambassador Team 2015. They will be in charge of keeping you updated about IUPE Engineering from the point of view as students. Please read what they say about our programs.

I -as a kid- always had this dream to go around the world and see different people. In my school there were these very interesting stories about different nations and cultures that lies thousands kilometers far from home. When I finished my high school, my friend told me about Kyushu University office in Cairo. I was very happy that I got accepted in such distinguished university, yet I haven't imagined that the world with all its nationalities and cultures will be there in the IUPE course. I guess now I don't have to go anywhere. (Abdelhman, Egypt, 3rd year in Mechanical Engineering Course)

Being in the IUPE of Kyushu University, I’ve been able to study in japan, travel and explore a whole new culture and language without being financially burdened. After being here for about 2 years now, IUPE has become my tight-knit family in Japan. Kyushu University’s Ito campus offers state-of-the-art facilities enriching both research activities and student life. It's no wonder that my favorite hangouts on campus happen to be the library, the common room and the gym. See you in Kyudai! (Iswarya, India, 3rd year in Civil Engineering Course)

I am Indonesian but I traveled 3,157 miles away far from home just to be a part of Kyudai's big family. I really love the ambience and environment here in my beautiful campus, which is far from the crowd and thus near to the beaches and forests. Studying in Japan along with students from various countries has given me a new, challenging and exhilarating experience that I could not possibly forget even after I graduate.
(Jessica, Indonesia, 2nd year in Applied Chemistry Course)

Being a student under the IUPE Program opens us up to a world of opportunities, and lets us network in a global environment. What I love the most about IUPE is, is that it provides a lively cross cultural study platform and that plays a huge role in grooming a global citizen out of us. (Jeevan, India, 3rd year in Civil Engineering Course)

I am proud to be a student of Kyushu University and IUPE program. After being here for a couple of months, I began to love everything about the campus. As a matter of fact, Kyudai is not the only place for studying but also open the door to achieve success in every aspect. To be honest, I’m really glad that I made a right decision by selecting Kyushu University and being a member of IUPE family. (Hiroshima, Sri Lanka, 2nd year in Civil Engineering Course)

I feel very lucky to be one of the numbers in this big family. Here is the place provide an atmosphere for us to study with people come from variety of countries but with the same aim. Even we have different culture. We became friends quickly. My dream is enter a cosmetic company or devote myself in environmental problems in the near future. Kyushu University provided me such a good chance to improve my studying ability and knowledge, which makes me closer to my dream. (May, China, 2nd year in Applied Chemistry Course)
